A Message from Our Principal

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Welcome to Snowflake Junior High School, home of the best students, teachers, and staff in Northern Arizona. True, that is my opinion; however, we also have the scores to prove it. As a result of our highly performing students and highly qualified staff, the Arizona Department of Education designates us as an “A” school. Our teachers work diligently to provide rigorous and engaging instruction, which in turn provides the best opportunity possible for quality learning.

Junior high students are in a very critical, transitional stage of their lives. They are laying a foundation for success in high school, college, and careers. Therefore, we strive to provide well-rounded, educational experiences in academics, electives, and athletics. We diligently endeavor to provide a nurturing and caring environment with numerous experiences to aid students in the quest. As an example, last year Samsung America Corporation selected our Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math (STEAM) club’s project out of 5,000 entries as one of three national winners

To incoming students, parents, and guardians, we welcome you to our school and look forward to collaborating with you to achieve your goals and aspirations. We will work tirelessly to provide appropriate learning opportunities and support you in your efforts to be successful in school and life. However, as the inscription on the keystone of the Snowflake Academy Building proclaims, "Self-Effort Educates."

Sincerely,

Brian Hoopes
